Action Ink was established in 2001. The planning for it was started a year prior to it being legal in Massachusetts. The owners, Chris and Jason Wetherell, having spent the previous few years becoming serious collectors of tattoos and body piercings, both became fond of the industry and lifestyle. Upon hearing that there was a possibility of it becoming legalized, the pursuit of their shop began. Upon finding a location and at the end of the battle for legalization, the studio opened in July of 2001 in Taunton.
Since then, the shop has been a great success, based upon their reputation for maintaining a safe, sterile, and friendly environment. The artists aren't rock stars and are willing to work with clients. They excel in all different styles of tattooing including traditional, tribal, Asian, and new school. You can find it - we can draw it. Three of our four artists have ten plus years of experience in the field. Action Ink doesn't jeopardize quality in favor of quantity. The work is done at competitive prices and guaranteed forever.
As for the all-important factor of sterility, we have an 8-year flawless record with the Board of Health, which visits us with frequent inspections. All artists are fully licensed and insured. Each is licensed in first aid, CPR, and bloodborne pathogen control. They all have been certified in infectious disease control as well. We have state-of-the-art facilities and equipment. We have received awards for our artwork and have been voted Best Of The Best in the Taunton Daily Gazette readers' polls.
The body piercing aspect of our business is beaten by no other. The competition is helpless against our reputation and prices. We are friendly and safe. Preserving the client's safety and the quality of our work is our most important priority. The body piercer has over 7 years experience and has drawn clients from all over Massachusetts and Rhode Island. The most important part of the procedure is making the client comfortable and satisfied, as well as being sure the piercing heals properly. We use only the highest-quality nickel-free surgical stainless steel jewelry. Aftercare is fully explained to the client to make sure there is the greatest chance of healing properly.
