Juan Zamora was born in Colombia in 1969. He has been involved in the Arts since he was 5 when he started art school. Later on, while in high school, his also attended a school of Art 3 times a week.
Juan came to the States 20 years ago. He started tattooing 15 years ago thanks to an old friend Omar that insisted he should try tattooing. After a few years of trial and error he started tattooing at Sin On Skin in Tiverton for a few years before working at Pins and Needles.
Juan then opened his own shop, Tattoos To The Bone, which he owned for 6 years. Juan has travelled several times, especially to South America, always learning more and more about tattooing. He has attended numerous conventions from New York to Sao Paulo, Brasil. His tattoos have been featured in various magazines both national and international.
Juan has also won awards for artwork and tattooing. He has used all Medias for art from oils, acrylics, airbrush, welding, pastel, pencils, ink, and everything that leaves a mark on any surface from wood to skin. His goals are to travel the world and learn a lot from many great artists worldwide.
